Jo Ellen brings the soul and sassiness of her New Orleans upbringing to the stage as well as the old country sounds of her West Texas roots.  She can take you from an elegant love song to a heartfelt honky tonk tune to a swampy blues number.  Her sound has been described as 'Adele backed by Creedence Clearwater Revival'.

Backed by several dynamic musicians dubbed the Box of Chocolates, Jo Ellen and her band interpret classics along with her sassy originals.  Dan Burnevik on rhythm guitar is a mainstay and the producer of her recently released single and upcoming album.  You can book the duo or the full band or see them at various venues in Central Texas.  They are also available for private functions. 

Singing for active duty troops is Jo Ellen's dream. She sings for veterans as a way to encourage them and is a long time supporter of Veteran Outdoors.
